Favourite Aspect of WiB:

My favourite aspect of WiB has to be the professional and personal development opportunities available to our members. WiB creates a supportive environment where members can enhance their skills, expand their networks, and gain real-world experience through events, workshops, and mentorship. These opportunities empower young women to grow confidently in their careers while also fostering personal growth and resilience. The focus on both career and personal development makes WiB a unique community that goes beyond traditional networking, encouraging members to become well-rounded leaders who contribute to their fields and support each other’s growth. Having been a part of WiB for over 2 years now, I can confidently say that my involvement with the society has helped my confidence and professionalism, but its even more rewarding to see that development in our members.

 

Career Aspirations:

I’d love to work in a position where I can help companies level up through technology. I’m really passionate about using tech to make things more efficient, boost growth, and create better experiences for clients. For example, I’d focus on helping start-ups or financial services companies transform how they operate. My goal is to stay ahead of tech trends and be part of a team that drives real, positive changes, making a noticeable impact in the process.

Female Role Model:

Serena Williams is my role model because she embodies both career success and a fulfilling family life. She achieved incredible milestones in tennis through her dedication, resilience, and passion for the sport. But beyond her athletic achievements, she’s also built a beautiful family and has become an advocate for women, health, and equality. Serena proves that it’s possible to excel professionally whilst building her personal life, inspiring me to pursue ambitious career goals and build a family of my own one day.

 

Fun Fact:

I love scuba diving with my family and I’ve recently picked up playing golf with my boyfriend and some friends. Golf has been a new challenge and I've been really enjoying exploring new courses and learning a new sport.
